Rocky, Mike, Mark, Doug, Alan & John's mobile Safari in Tanzania plus extension to Zanzibar
Going on Safari had been a childhood dream of Rocky's and it wasn't hard for him to capture the imagination of his partner Mike and their other friends. Rocky and I plotted and planned and stategized for months and because he had his own special small group and they started their plans way in advance, we could pretty much custom design the mobile safari experience around their desires. The results were exactly what they wanted and Rocky's spectacular pictures tell the full story.
Emails from Rocky & John upon their return:
Hey Ellen!
Well we’re back and as expected, we had an AMAZING time. Thanks so much for all the work you did on this. Our guide, Shadrack, was so good that we thought maybe he had some supernatural powers to conjure up animals!
We took over 1,000 pictures and Mark and Doug have nearly that many. Alan has movies and John has pics of Zanzibar. So we have plenty of material for you if you need it for your Africa marketing And If you ever have potential travelers who need to talk to someone about the trip, Mike and I are happy to be on the reference list.
Thanks, again, Ellen. It really was a once in a lifetime experience … and I think I speak for all of us when I say that. Now we have to start saving for Egypt.

Hi Ellen
Thank you so much for an amazing trip. It was perfect as far as I'm concerned. I'm not near the photographer Rocky is but I think I got a couple good shots. About Zanziba, originally, I didn't want to stay in Stone Town because the guidebooks didn't make it sound appealing. But now I'm glad I did because it was an excellent introduction to the island. I hope to come back and at that point I'll try to see the outer corners of the island. One day I spent at the Serena's private beach at Mangapwani. They treated me like a king. They drove me out there (20km north) and I was the only one there with three guys serving me. Crazy. The next day I took a spice tour. I love spices and it was very informative. The third day I wandered around Stone Town (reminds me of Venice), visited the House of Wonders museum, drank too much with a British soldier on leave from Sierra Leone, and read by the pool. The people were very friendly. Thank you again for your help in putting together this amazing trip for us.
