Alan & Laura's Honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar
Laura & Alan were interested in a wildlife intensive experience in the Serengeti and because it was their honeymoon they wanted it to be private and luxurious. We set them up with a private luxury level mobile safari that covered the Northern Circuit of Tanzania and then they ended at a gorgeous resort at the Northern tip of Zanzibar for a relaxing beach experience where Laura could relax on pristine beaches and Alan could scuba dive in tropical coral gardens rich with marine life.
Email from Laura & Alan upon their return:
Dear Ellen, I wanted to email and thank you again for arranging our honeymoon. Alan and I had an unforgettable trip and are still amazed with the amount of animals we saw (and so close at that!!). A couple of highlights that I absolutely think you should boast about to future customers: Amount of animals: we saw over 50 lions, 4 leopards, 11 cheetah, and countless hyenas, hippos, zebras, elephants, giraffes, baboons and various antelope. We were amazed by how close we could get to each of these animals as they really would come essentially within feet of the jeep. Having the guide and the jeep to ourselves with the animals was absolutely wonderful. Every one of the drives was very enjoyable.
Camp Staff/Guide: we really enjoyed our camp staff - very friendly warm people. Our guide spoke English quite well and really helped us enjoy our trip, and definitely helped try to find animals that we were interested in seeing.
Diving/Snorkeling: the Diving/Snorkeling in Zanzibar were fantastic - Alan even got scuba certified there!
Ras Nungwi: this hotel was very nice - great service and great food - highly recommend. It was an incredibly memorable trip and we do hope to go back again someday! Thanks again for your help with this trip - you have been an absolute pleasure to work with.
