Day 1 Arrive / Beijing
Arrival at Beijing, where our local guide will greet you, and then escort you to your hotel.
Day 2 Beijing
Enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast in the hotel. Tour historic Beijing, including Tiananmen Square and the incredible Forbidden City. Complete the day with a savory dinner of Peking Duck.
Day 3 Beijing
An afternoon walk along the majestic Great Wall will be one of the highlights of your honeymoon. Take your time and stroll along this wonder of the world. Also visit the Scared Road to the Ming Tombs before returning to the city.
Day 4 Beijing
Visit the old narrow alleys, or hutongs, by traditional sedan chair, decorated specially for you with red hangings and flowers. Lunch will be served in one of the local people's courtyard homes during the tour, where you can learn how to make dumplings and have some fun by trying some of the Chinese traditional games for newly married couples.
Day 5 Beijing / Xian
After a visit to another Beijing landmark , the splendid Temple of Heaven built in the 15th century, fly to Xi’an, China’s ancient capital.
Day 6 Xi'an
Explore the glories of this ancient city, including the incredible 6,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors and Horses arranged in battle formation to protect the mausoleum of China’s first emperor, QinShihuang. Enjoy strolling along the Ancient City walls, considered the largest and best-preserved ancient fortress in the world. Complete the day with a savory dumpling dinner and the Tang Dynasty show at the Shaanxi Grand Opera Theatre. After the show, you will put on wedding robes in the Tang Dynasty style to take a "Chinese Marriage Photo".
Day 7 Xi'an / Guilin
Enjoy a free day until your flight to Guilin, the most scenic city in China.
Day 8 Guilin / Yangshuo
After breakfast, drive to Zhujiang Pier (about a 40-minute drive) for a boat cruise along the tranquil Li River. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles and mirrored reflections in the crystal-clear water, together with serene pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffalo. You will truly feel that you have walked into a traditional Chinese painting. After arriving at picturesque Yangshuo, spend some time shopping on the quaint streets,then drive to the Mountain Retreat Hotel beside the beautiful Yulong River where you will stay overnight. Enjoy a peaceful evening together beside Yulong River.
Day 9 Yangshuo / Guilin / Hangzhou
Return to Guilin to visit the colorfully-lit Reed Flute Cave before heading to the airport for your flight to Hangzhou.
Day 10 Hangzhou / Wuzhen
Take a romantic boat trip on lovely West Lake in Hangzhou, a charming city with a deep cultural heritage. Then drive to Wuzhen (about 75km), a lovely small water town, where you will stay overnight and a traditional water-town wedding ceremony will be arranged for you.
Day 11 Wuzhen / Hangzhou / Shanghai
Return to Hangzhou for your train to cosmopolitan Shanghai, one of the great seaports of the world. Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will bring you to stroll the waterfront Bund and crowded Nanjing Road, the beautiful Yu Garden and the bustling Yuyuan Market.
Day 12 Shanghai / Depart
Say "zai jian" (goodbye) to China today. You will be escorted to the airport for your flight back home. |
